The foundation for DC Music Group was laid out when Jingguo Dong realized that there was a severe lack of quality beginner and intermediate instruments, along with a lack of innovation for professional-grade instruments. Once Mr. Dong made this realization, he quickly found engineer Yiyi Chen and together, they formed the legendary instrument manufacturing company – DC Music Group.

Combined, they have 80+ years of musical experience and developed many famous players such as current principal players in the New York Philharmonic, the San Francisco Opera, etc. In addition, they have 40+ years of manufacturing instruments, and have dedicated the past 10 years to advancing the way we conceptualize sound waves in relation to our instruments. Now, armed with numerous internationally recognized patents, DC Music Group is here to empower musicians and set a new standard in the realm of musical expression.
