Thank you for letting Manhattan Winds become part of your musical journey. We know your instrument is precious and deserves the utmost respect and care. Please do not hesitate to contact us at info@manhattanwinds.com to begin your warranty claim. Please allow at least two weeks for repairs. Turnaround times vary, but we do our best to return instruments as quickly as possible.
Below are our instrument warranty guidelines. Please read it carefully and do not hesitate to contact any of our resellers for advice.
CONTRACTUAL GUARANTEE GRANTED BY MANHATTAN WINDS
1. All Manhattan Winds instruments are covered upon the date of purchase, against all manufacturing or material defects. Additionally, Manhattan Winds grants to all Clarinet, Oboe and English horn buyers additional contractual guarantees, depending on the product range to which the instrument in question belongs. All guarantees are granted for a limited period of time, which begins at the initial purchase date.

2. These guarantees include, but are not limited to: crack repair, pad replacement, tuning, re-corking, and mechanism adjustments. Repairs necessary due to abuse, negligence, or incompetent repairs done by outside repair shops are not covered under the warranty. Specifically, the contractual guarantee granted by Manhattan Winds does not cover:
- Damages caused by an external events (such as mold due to atmospheric conditions or corrosive effects due to sweat or saliva)
- Normal parts wear and tear such as pads and reeds
- Damages caused by an improper care and use of the instrument
- Damages caused by not following proper care procedures
- Damages due to any physical influence
- Instruments handled by a non-authorized person, prior to the guarantee claim
3. All repairs must be done at a Manhattan Winds certified location. Failure to do this may void the warranty.
4. This guarantee is only effective if the instrument is purchased directly from Manhattan Winds. If the instrument is purchased from a dealer, please refer to their specific guidelines regarding warranty.
5. Any guarantee claim shall include a copy of the invoice, and shall be sent, within four (4) weeks, to the following email address:
Please note the following:
- Instrument transportation to and from the repair location are made at the sole risk of the client. As a result, costs and risks for loss or damages during transportation are not covered by the contractual guarantee.
- Insurance costs are the owner’s responsibility.
- The warranty is only applicable to the original owner of the instrument.
